You think you know me

There are so many versions and chapters of my story. Not one chapter fully embodies who I am as a person. I am on fire for what I believe in, yet a couple seasons have fallen short of reflecting who I am. I identify as a daughter of the most High King, believing in Jesus. Perfect, far from it, I know I have made mistakes in seasons just teaching me, growing me and I own that.I have a personality that just doesn’t line up with what is expected.I love hard and though that love may change it has no expiration date, once I care you are a friend for life whether access to you has changed or not you are in my prayers and I am wishing you well.I know I am loved and feel it by God and others. I love my family and will fight for them and what I believe. I may not share everything especially pain or trauma and mental health as it is messy and seems to come out sideways destroying me and everything in its path so I heal and decide to not give into it and shine instead. I trust when I shouldn’t. Give to benifit of the doubt. I have learned that not all people are safe or to be trusted with my heart. I have learned I can be as fierce as soft and fiery and broken all in a single day. A favorite thing to do is to laugh and share with people.I have been wild and wreck-lace fallen more times then I care to know yet thanks to Gods mercies never failing get right back up to walk upright and have even flipped a table or two if they were in my path. What may be meant for evil God uses for His glory and nothing is wasted.
I may not express my heart at any given time and then kinda overflow as a never ending. I love people yet do not live for approval in this world. I do not know all God has for me and do not know my next step but have so many ideas and thoughts. There are more for us than against us. He is not done with my story or yours either.

Good for you embracing being yourself! 🙂
I don’t know you. Then again, you don’t know me.

The assumption that God will defend your behavior OR mine, includes the assumption that we are following both the spirit and the letter of the Law, what God wants from us. Considering the warning that “None is perfect, nay, not one” clearly contradicts that assumption.

Throughout history, we have not only had the audacity to NAME God, but to insist our name for the Eternal is the only correct name. Uncountable humans have died because other humans have decided they follow a Deity with the wrong name.

I too have friends I love deeply. That does not mean “ride or die.” It does mean consoling them, comforting, being there when the phone rings, when the boat is sinking. It doesn’t mean enabling destructive behavior, whether the destruction is to themselves or to others. It means doing everything I can to stop the bleeding when they are injured, but stops short of assisting the destruction.

@Mamapolo2016 I thank you for your thoughts. My God is Jesus who died for me. I mean no insult to you or who you follow but I am just sharing my thoughts.
@Daisy57 My late father was a Baptist preacher, but a fairly unique one. He deliberately took us to visit houses of worship different than ours. Synagogue, mosque, Catholic, Methodist. He wanted us to understand that people with different beliefs, faces, languages were doing the same thing we were doing - seeking truth.

Dad was an excellent preacher. He made his listeners feel like Noah lived next door, and Job needed some loving visitation.

My objection is not a question about “who is right?” It’s a question about “is a display of threats and violent suggestions” one that reflects to others the Divinity we claim to worship?
